85 Points

Monday, April 25, 2022 - This seemed to have been better younger. Not sure what to make of this. Quite ripe and dense, coming out with vanilla on PnP. After a glass+ the bottle was set aside, capped, and the following night decanted for a couple of hours. The air helped it blow of sweet tones, but it remained dense and really not varietally expressive.

I got my bottles at a local retailer that (at the time) seemed reputable, but where I never shop, because it's out of the way. I bought them because the price was so good - $36. (Yes, these bottles are the '14 AM Juliard Vineyard.) It would be an odd wine to counterfeit, but stranger things have happened. (My purchase note includes "I placed an order for the Maresh Vineyard but they actually had this only and that is what I received and I agreed to keep it.". So there's that, too.)

Still, Good++ wine. 13.4% abv. I'd have guessed 14%(+).
