Wednesday, June 1, 2016 - Pop and poured. At B&B PP. Drank over 2 hours. Screw-cap.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of flinty minerality and citrus lemon fruit. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon, white peach, flinty minerality. Rounded with sweet cream with more air. Medium finish.
Rather nice and good quality in the first 30 minutes. With more air, it actually descends into flabby sweet fruit. Drink up, will not improve much with ageing.
55% Clare Valley fruit and 45% from Margaret River.
