In the grand scheme of dessert wines, just not quite there -- this is dessert wine for Napa drinkers. The nose and palate show a fair bit of botrytis influence, but there are also some spicy elements that are more in line with gewürztraminer (especially the lychee). The palate is the weak spot here; this lacks acidity and finishes quite bitter.
