Saturday, January 21, 2012 - At home with ex-Nobu chef Tom Bascon: Popped open to replace a defective Dauvissat 'Forest' 2000. Light yellow green color, clear and bright (almost like an SB). Nose was muted since it was still cold from the wine fridge. First sip showed some classic Puligny notes but quite restrained. Both nose and palate stayed this way for the rest of the evening. Good but nothing close to excellent.
