Monday, March 12, 2012 - Dark black/purple to the rim. Very bold legs, allot of glycerin. New world Bordeaux in style. Nose somewhat muted but nuiances of black and blue fruit. Mouth feel extremely smooth through the mid palate but chalky, chunky and dry on the finish with nice spice. Cab Franc very present and gives it the smooth mellow palate. Allot going on and somewhat trying to come together. I think this is approacable but yound. Can drink now but will improve over the next 3-5 years. Jeff and Jim are spot on. Roundness may be the right expression for the mid palate.
