Wednesday, April 13, 2022 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS: Bordeaux 2005 vs 2009 (by DJ): Beautiful oak and dark berries, pleasantly rustic farmyard flavors. Red berries, cherries, vanilla and cinnamon as well. In the mouth a beautiful and round mouth feel with a lot of sweet spices, juicy acidity, vanilla, a pleasant touch of sweetness, round tannin and a good length. Still a future of at least another 5+ years. Ready now and a beautiful wine.
