Monday, October 5, 2015 - Another brilliant Clonakilla riesling. Talc aspects on the nose, along with pure citrus fruit. Pristine, focussed, driving flavours - lemons, granny smith apples, minerals, just a hint of something more tropical. So long. It has the acid profile to last 10 years but it is also surprisingly approachable now, especially with complimentary foods - and approachability on release is not something I'd always claim for a Clonakilla.
