Tasted 11-Sep-2021; Screwcap; 12% Alc; Dry. Darkish straw color. No sediment. No decanting. Some woody aroma. Medium to full body. Will continue to develop more body with aging. Citrus and some minerality in the taste with a long finish, medium acidity and alcohol well integrated. Good now, but should develop over next few years. Food parings: Roast pork. Semi hard cheese like Jarlsberg

Ripe and forward. Kaffir lime, honey, and mineral nose. Broad palate, forward and approachable, but plenty of tingly acids. Very fine wine, that may improve.

{screwcap, 12%} A repeat of last year's note. Same reticent character, lime influence, soft acid. I'm slightly less confident about waiting given that softness of character though.

{screwcap, 12%} Barely any colour. Reticent nose; lime, minerals. Not a lot here; it brings cold spring water to mind mostly. But also some pith and orange peel aromas. The palate is starting to shut down I suspect; the acid is quiet but subtley present; there's a slightly powdery/talc quality to the texture. It doesn't make that much impression at first, but your mouth waters for a while afterwards. It's an odd mix of light body, long finish, mineral character and potential. Wait.

Outstanding wine with great promise for the future, but currently very tightly-knit. Intense concentration, an exceptionally well=moduclated palate , with great persistence of length. Very mineral, very lime peel - this conjure up images of cold mountain streams, etc... Give this at least 5 years and possibly as many as 10 before opening again. I see this as a sure thing in the cellar. 91+++

Citrus, clean and dry with good length. Losing a bit of zing. I like young riesling but this is the oldest I'd drink it before putting it away for a decade to develop secondary features. Still good though.

Lime, pith, steel & slate. A little peach. Palm sugar? Maybe. I could drink this by the pint, wonderful, and as others have said, unusually so for a young Clonakilla Riesling.

Another brilliant Clonakilla riesling. Talc aspects on the nose, along with pure citrus fruit. Pristine, focussed, driving flavours - lemons, granny smith apples, minerals, just a hint of something more tropical. So long. It has the acid profile to last 10 years but it is also surprisingly approachable now, especially with complimentary foods - and approachability on release is not something I'd always claim for a Clonakilla.

Canberra - Clonakilla & Lerida; 10/3/2015-10/5/2015 (Canberra): {screwcap, 12%, A$30} fresh green apples. The light-medium bodied palate has pure, crystalline apple flavours, crisply acidic without ever being searing or screeching. Focussed and intense, although soft on he back palate. Dry, medium length finish. Should age well but it's gorgeous now.

Gooseberries and elderflower on the nose. Almost reminiscient of sauvignon without the green notes.
Very enjoyable now, but fairly simple. Will wait before opening more bottles.

Plenty of citrus, floral notes and slate on the nose. Tasted a bit like a Sauvignon Blanc. Decent acid. Should be a keeper IMHO.

Think this will reward a further 5-10 years but good drinking now. Dry with lime/apples/talc. Clonakilla seem to always deliver a good riesling.

Seemed much better than the last bottle - perhaps settled in the bottle further now? Juicy and refreshing with notes of green apple acid and lime.

Unsurprisingly, needs some time. Right now the acid is a little overwhelming but the structure is there for a beautiful wine over the distance.
