Sunday, May 15, 2016 - Pale green color. Split a bottle over 2.5 hours with the tasting menu at Guy Savoy. I have loved the previous bottles of Arnot-Robert Chard I've had, and when I spotted this on the list at Guy Savoy I knew it would be a brilliant pairing for two-thirds of the tasting menu. I'll absolutely echo Chablis28's recent note. The nose is bright with white fruits, delicate green apple, that build on tangerine and lemon with breezy minerality. The palate is crystalline, pure and intense with an elegant weightlessness, fine minerality, medium body and a very long finish. Also as noted previously, no oak in site here. Fantastic! Our French waiter who had not tried it previously, was duly impressed.
