Saturday, October 26, 2019 - Beautiful wine. It displays the best of Spring Mountain terroir and defies the off-year label of the cold, wet 2011 vintage. Rich, dense, powerful, and youthfully structured, with plump, textural layers of savory dark cherries, creme de cassis, melted licorice, tomato leaf, and perfectly integrated oak. It’s tremendously balanced and gorgeous with a two hour decant. Best of all it will make old bones. Worth every penny.
