Dark garnet in color, no sign of aging on the edge. Expressive nose from get-go. Notes of oyster shells, flowers, tobacco, and wood spices. Tannins have soften a bit vs previous bottle many years ago but still plenty hanging around. Finished long, spicy, and warm. A touch bitter at backend. Not yet reached maturity but approachable. Should continue to evolve and improve.
