High-toned, with a background note that I could only describe as moldy clay- not necessarily a bad thing, just different. Develops a riper profile the longer it sits, and develops a meaty/spicy Slim Jim aroma. Tannic, with flavors of dark fruit- quite ripe- with a hollowness on the midpalate and shortish finish.
