Thursday, April 30, 2015 - Saturated dark ruby color. Ripe aromas of blackcurrant, black cherries, chocolate and subtle hint of eucalyptus/mint. Medium bodied. Lush on entry followed by juicy black fruits wrapped on dark cocoa powder. Secondary flavors of beef blood (rare steak), cigar box and leather. Perfect accompaniment to short ribs. At peak.
