Sunday, August 13, 2023 - Pleasant surprise from the far reaches of the cellar. Musty cassis, blackberry, coffee, and even some bay on the nose. Herbal notes intensified with air. Warmed black cherry in the mouth with more green herbs and solid minerality. Good acidity to keep things lively. Won't win any awards for complexity but a solid drink seemingly at peak.
