Saturday, March 11, 2017 - From a good looking bottle with a 2.5 cm fill, this wine had a light red center and orange rims. The medium intensity nose put forth sautéed cherries, roses, tan spices, and some soil.

In the mouth, this refined wine had nice richness, light rounded tannin, and fine-grained acidity. It also had a lovely mineral quality and surprising length for a fully resolved wine.

This lovely wine should be consumed ASAP! However, please note that even though this wine was fully mature, it did not show its "peacock's tail" until after 4 hours in a decanter.
