Friday, November 20, 2015 - Our third bottle in 2015 of this surprisingly ready to sip classic Pauillac. We "opened" via Coravin and enjoyed a perfect class...great toy! The next day, we decided to go all in with the bottle as friends were visiting. Dark purple on the eye always is inviting...tres sexy. Aromas of blackberries, liquorice and herbal tea...oh my, almost reminiscent of "Yau Sei Mei" or 24 herb tea found on street corners of Hong Kong. Soft and subtle berries on the palate with a hint of oak, elegant tannins, medium body and a fairly long berry finish. Everything we hoped for in a "Leggy Bottoms" wine that we expect will only get better over the next 10+ years.
