Thursday, November 23, 2023 - This was a beautiful wine - but it is young and wound up. After a few hours in the decanter it started to open up. We had it with our Thanksgiving dinner and it was outstanding with food. The nose shows violets and dark fruits at this point, and the palate is elegant and long, with rich deep fruit. It should really shine in another 10-30 years. I have 1 bottle left and I'll hold it for as long as I can.
