Sunday, October 22, 2023 - Gave this a splash decant, then back in the bottle for. 2 hours and enjoyed over dinner at a B.Y.O.B. in center city Philly. Really loved a bottle I drank two years ago. This one was purchased from winery at a later date. It is likely slightly past its peak for my palate. A dark purple wine with dense black fruits- plums, blackberries, baker’s chocolate and a hint of holiday spice. Nicely balanced decent finish, subtle minerals on the back end. Not as bright or fresh as I remember, as the acidity as faded.
Still tasty, and I would drink up if you have one.
