Saturday, November 12, 2016 - One can notice plenty of warm fruit in the midpalate, which is kept in check by ample grip on finish due to the mourvedre in the blend. Tasted again 2 days later, the fruit has melded into the background, complemented by aged leather & mahogany notes. With the tannin less perceptible, the wine is more seamless. Drink or hold, according to preference.
