Wednesday, November 15, 2023 - For an appellation wine, this is punching near 1er Cru level given its notable intensity. This is super fresh and lively. Perhaps the DIAM closure has kept the evolution here at a minimum, which gives the impression of a more recent vintage (would’ve guessed 2019 if not for a slight whisper of oxidation once it gets going in the glass with some swirling). A small sample of this remained on day two and it was still kicking out almost Chablis-esque tension. A wine to hold with confidence for a few years but drinking solid now.
