Tuesday, April 12, 2016 - This deep ruby Pinot is packed with black cherries, smoke, coriander and earth. Considering the varietal, it is a full-throttled offering. Ripe, rich, fresh and with substantial fine-grained tannins, it is plump in the middle, seamlessly alcoholic (14.1%) and lingers beautifully on the finish. As good as this is now, it will get better with some time in the cellar. This is a much more masculine Pinot than its 2013 sibling. Drink 2018-2022.
