Siduri is one of my favorite producers of pinot noir in California. The Sonoma County is basically their entry-level offering, but you would never know it judging by the quality.
Wine was decanted for an hour. Floral notes on the nose, with sublime cherry, plum, and pomegranate flavors on the palate. Some light spice notes followed by dusty tannins. This wine is smooth, medium bodied and perfectly balanced. Drink 2018-2020.
Unbelievable QPR.

Totally solid wine for the $20 we paid, gets the point across if you're craving Sonoma Pinot, and is a good intro to the house style, which runs a tad richer in fruit than many other producers who also make this balanced and red-fruited earthy pinot in Sonoma. We drank half the first night and left the second half in the fridge, it was actually better on day 2 as some of the sweeter fruit receded and let the fresh-feeling acid and more spice notes come forward a bit, slightly more depth and verve. Try it out!

Deep ruby and loaded with aromas and flavors of smoky black cherries, baking spices and loamy earth, this is a serious wine. With fresh acidiy, nicely integrated alcohol (14.1%) and medium fine-grained tannins, it is dense in the middle and lengthy on the back end. Such a quality Pinot at this price! Drink 2018-2022.

For a 2014, tastes beyond its years. I agree with previous notes. Rich, ripe, structured, and the finish lingers quite nicely. Great QPR at $18 (sale price).

Tasted alongside 2014 Pali Huntington and 2014 Duck Pond Willamette. This edged out Pali slightly. Fuller body and rounder tannins. Flavors across the palate are well balanced and more complex. Great QPR.

This deep ruby Pinot is packed with black cherries, smoke, coriander and earth. Considering the varietal, it is a full-throttled offering. Ripe, rich, fresh and with substantial fine-grained tannins, it is plump in the middle, seamlessly alcoholic (14.1%) and lingers beautifully on the finish. As good as this is now, it will get better with some time in the cellar. This is a much more masculine Pinot than its 2013 sibling. Drink 2018-2022.

Ruby. A bold full bodied pinot that shows cherry, baking spice, wild berry and cola. Weighty for pinot, long and lingering.
