Friday, November 18, 2016 - Quick note. Surprisingly youthful at first. Quite firm and searing acidity. Bit shy on the nose, with mostly yellow fruits. After 30-40 minutes it broadens out showing more of the maturity in the bottle as well as the classic PR notes. Quite yeasty, and eventually sherry & funky notes come into play. What strikes me though is how well the sweetish fruit is holding up. Right now I like the 1986 bdb better. Will leave my remaining bottle to around 2020(+) I think to see if there is more upside to catch. 92-93 p for now.
