Tuesday, May 22, 2018 - Decanted for 2hrs. Pours a star-bright intense lemon-yellow in the glass. Nose and palate are very expressive and alive right now showing layers of ripe golden apples and apple skins, honey, meyer lemon, candied lemon peel, crushed limestone, spicy vanilla and cloves, and a perfectly creamy mouthfeel that is pierced with racy acid and bitter citrus. Long filigreed finish is laced with orchard fruits and stone fruits alongside pretty citrus and powdery minerals. This wine is absolutely gorgeous right now and an immense value. Very nice.
