  • Decanted for 2hrs. Pours a star-bright intense lemon-yellow in the glass. Nose and palate are very expressive and alive right now showing layers of ripe golden apples and apple skins, honey, meyer lemon, candied lemon peel, crushed limestone, spicy vanilla and cloves, and a perfectly creamy mouthfeel that is pierced with racy acid and bitter citrus. Long filigreed finish is laced with orchard fruits and stone fruits alongside pretty citrus and powdery minerals. This wine is absolutely gorgeous right now and an immense value. Very nice.

  • Splash decant. Pours a day-bright golden yellow in the glass. Nose and palate are full of intensity showing orchard fruits, white florals, tropical fruits including bitter, tart passionfruit and pineapple, fine herbs, and streaky flinty mineralité. Midpalate is round and balanced with well integrated acid and serious weight showing a nice clove and allspice spiciness which drives this to a complex and mineral finish. The wine evolved nicely over the course of 3 hours and was a real treat. This is a serious and very pleasurable wine right now. Definitely seems at a very nice peak that will go for 3-4 years strong.

  • Very nicely surprised with this--really well balanced, a tiny dose of judicious oak, moderate but clean tree fruits, just a little age to round this off, excellent weight and balance for this appelation! Great daily drinker. Pulled this by accident for nice seafood meal at the Watergrill and really liked it. Pre-LA Phil w/family

  • Drinking beautifully right now. Hasn't changed since the last bottle. In a good place and will hold for at least 5 more years in my books.

  • Tasted blind. Golden yellow in the glass. This was Macon all the way! Tropical fruits propped up by citrus galore with no oak to speak of on the nose. No malo apparent either. Great acidity, minerality, and length. This was singing.
