Saturday, March 28, 2009 - PWS 2009-01: Bordeaux: Left bank. (@ PdV): Butter and primary cherry fruits in the bouquet. Also some oak. Same in the taste. Juicy, youthful and soft tannin. Round and a firm amount of acidity. Nothing in this wine that makes you think you are drinking a Grand Cru Classé. No luxury at all. Tasting it blind I even thought this could be a quite simple new world red. Ok, cru bourgeois level wine.
