Monday, June 9, 2014 - Frans de Beer and his lovely Adriana decided to celabrate their 25 years together and we were invited, which is not a punishment with e.g. 2005 du Tertre, 1996 Langoa-Barton and 1997 La Tour Blanche, a perfect terrace and 25+° C. The first bottle of the du Tertre was a bit chunky and missed the flesh to support the mid- and aftertaste (87 p). The second bottle however showed the same upfront perfectly dosed new wood and more body and balance.
