Saturday, January 31, 2015 - Opened to breathe for 2h. Dark red purple classic Bdx, with lots of fruit and tobacco notes on the nose. On the palate a delicious blend of cigar box, oak, and juicy cherries, silky tannins - just a bit of structure, and the acid finish, clean and bright. The perfect companion to grilled flank steak and green beans. This is in a good spot right now, hard to see how this can get much better with more aging. It's ready to enjoy!
