Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Dark ruby, some limited bricking. Nose: darker and deeper than I'd expected for a St J - leather, roasted meat and earth to the fore. Blackcurrant as well, with some red fruit very much in the background. Intense. Some cedar notes poking through. Violet aromatics developed with time.

Palate: medium+ body. Great balance. Concentration good, not excessive. Tannins have softened nicely. Elegant, soft, rounded style. Finish is okay. Excellent.
