Thursday, January 13, 2011 - Medium intensity lemony colour. Medium + aromatic intensity with ripe tropical fruits, sweet spices especially vanillas from use of new oak, some mineral and citrus notes, creme brulee, honey and green grassiness. Nose is complex although not exhuberant, what is a problem is the alcohol which at the moment seem to stick out. Palate is medium + bodied, with oily texture. Flavours are deep and complex, finish is very long indeed but dominated by the vanilla oak and alcohol is perceptibly high. Powerfull wine which most likely needs more time for its components to integrate.
