Saturday, November 12, 2011 - Has lost the vigour of youth but a roundness and creaminess in the palate compensates as the components of this wine begin to integrate. Nose has medium intensity but is quite complex with ripe aromatics of quince, peach, pear, tropical fruit and oaky spicyness as well as wax and honey. Palate has weight and nice creamy texture but alcohol is quite warm and shows on the finish.
