Thursday, June 9, 2022 - My first taste of anything Dauvissat which I kept around for a few extra years to soften the edges. Still vibrant, it has some pretty little subtleties but moves and dances less than I hoped it might.

Not to suggest there aren't things to appreciate. Smokey stone, and oyster shell, cool to the touch. Apple core and pear accents, and florals. Electric sour lemon starfruit with a bitter grapefruit finish.

Delicious, but it'll disappear without much noise into a memory bank of equally good Chablis at half the price.
