Thursday, March 17, 2016 - A blend of Sojourn's Pinot Noir from its stellar single vineyards. This tasting is just after release so admittedly it is quite young. A Ruby color with explosive aromatics, it delivers that classic, big, earthy Sojourn bouquet, although with darker fruit and more cherry than I expected. The texture is familiar and silky smooth. Blackberry, cherry and spice on the palate. Not a particularly long finish but it has some nice spice. At the $39 price point in Sojourn's lineup, it's a relative value.
