Sunday, October 9, 2016 - Agree with EWDS and Cristian_M that this is and entry level AVA Pinot that is quite well done. Translucent ruby red with a quite strong nose of cherry, raspberry and a hint of flowers along with the alcohol. Really forward on the front palate where the cherries, and a strawberry flavor mix well with the notes of vanilla and oak. In the finish, there are some nicely structured but light tannins to compliment the bright acidity and a bit of spice. Not likely an age-worthy wine, but a relatively good value over the next two years.
