Medium to full bodied, broad-shouldered, chalky and furry tannins still remain, acidity woven underneath the tannins; tar and licorice notes predominant, some leather, a smidgen of red fruits, meaty, dried herbs, and long. Structured and brawny, can take more years in the cellar however not sure whether it will become more charming with time. Crying for a rich meat-dominant dish, or some good tajarin.
