Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - I had low expectations, but this was surprisingly good. On first pour, it looked watery and it was taking on a rusty colour. The nose had balsamic and brown sugar, but not aggressively so. On the palate the fruit was still hanging on and and there was a very good level of acidity. It was fully resolved, mellow, and certainly pretty far down the down slope, but still fun to drink what I believe was the first vintage of this wine.
