Saturday, February 24, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes before serving. Medium-deep garnet color. Lovely on the nose: aged leather, dried fruit, a hint of floral perfume, and some masculine old office wood. Medium body, medium acid, with fine grained tannins. Surprisingly vibrant blackberries and black currant on the palate with a nice savory mid-palate. Very sweet fruit. Lacking a bit of complexity on the palate that I'd expect given the age and vintage, but certainly enjoyable.
