Saturday, July 15, 2017 - Popped and poured, youthful ruby/purple. Aromas of dark berries & black cherries are complimented by subtle herbs, a briny quality (black olive?) and an impression of earthy minerals. So pretty. Moderate-light body, well-balanced acidity. Flavors mirror the nose and are accented by additional notes of spice. Smooth, somewhat chalky tannins are mostly indiscernible on the close. Easygoing and tasty, it's hard to put the glass down when drinking this one.
