Saturday, December 19, 2009 - Decanted for about 30 mins. Deep garnet color with lots of cassis, cedar and some pencil shavings on the nose. Medium to full body with nice balance. A touch of earthiness and lots of fruit on the palate. Medium length finish. I believe this wine is just starting to come into it's prime drinking window. Matched very well with Filet Mignon.
