Sunday, March 30, 2014 - Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose shows ripe blackcurrant, cedar, touch of earth and vanilla. Medium/full bodied, cedary blackcurrant fruit, generous and rich but with sumptuous balancing acidity, soft tannins just showing a trace on the good length finish. Excellent, drinking well but should be fine for some time - to at least 2020.
