Tuesday, August 11, 2009 - Brutally young, but how wonderful. Honey, straw, sandalwood, lemon curd, hints of spice and saline. The 12% alcohol came across a little hot tonight but by no means pervasive. The acidity, in it's current state, was pacified with food. A good hour-and-a-half opened this beauty up like the virgin it still is. Brilliant, limpid color and nose that is really hinting at the future. Best around 2014-2016?
