Saturday, January 7, 2017 - Straw in color. Opened the bottle Saturday at a Feast of Seven Fish. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Initial nose was a funky woody smell. The initial taste was like someone squeezed water out of wood. We let it sit a couple of hours to breathe. It improved a bit, but not enough to drink. Poured it down the drain. Have three more bottles and I surely hope this bottle was an odd ball flawed one!!! The highest score I could give it was 0!! Absolutely the WORST bottle of wine I have ever tasted, plus embarrassed in front of friends! Really screwed up my palate for a while!!

1/27/2017 4:15:00 PM - It sure sounds like this bottle suffered from cork taint or some other bottle-specific flaw. You might consider changing your score to "flawed".
