Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Very dark red color, 1mm clear edge. PNP, drank a couple glasses over 3 hours. 75% CS, 15% CF, 5% M, 5% PV. Ripe nose with black currants, raspberry, and wild cherry, with some woodsy notes, coarse ground tobacco and underbrush. The palate is medium-full bodied, satiny with tart black currants, dried tobacco leaf, dried earth, dusty minerality, tart cherry with fine tannins. Probably at peak.
