Thursday, October 27, 2011 - Nose of cherry liquer and dark chocolate. Nice, oily bricking - with cloudy ruby coloring predominant. Some dry, dusty tannins stand out in the fore - as does the hint of heat on the finish. In between I'm treated to a rustic vegetal effort, mildly void of fruit although still rather enjoyable. While I was expecting a smidge more fun here, I can't complain with this particular offering.
