Tuesday, February 15, 2022 - This is a wow ! very serious and complex Nero d'avola. I first tried Mille e una Notte at La Saletta in Corotona back in 2000. I fell in love immediately. This is deep hugely aromatic with complex flavors of blackberries and cherries, complicated by spices, and beautiful balancing acidity. At 11 years old this was singing, but it still had a tannic backbone and massive amounts of fruits which has now sent me on a search for more of the '11s. Beautiful wine.
