2014 Pierro Chardonnay Margaret River

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, September 29, 2016 - Recognized locally as a very distinctive style, this features 12 months on oak (50% new French), full malo and battonage.
This is reflected in intense aromas of oak and biscuit.
The texture is consistent with the nose but the palate, in contrast, has controlled acidity, a lot of white fruit. This gives a balance with biscuits and toast complexity and a long finish
As close to Meursault as you will find
