Broad and generous, primarily melon and yellow nectarine fruit, with bread, vanilla and cashew undertones and a full, hefty body. Tried side-by-side with their 2014 Vintage Reserve, very similar as you'd expect, so good to know our storage is half decent.

Agree with a lot of the tasting notes below - not much to add. Ripe peach, nectarine, certainly edging towards tinned pineapple, nuts, vanilla. I must admit it just lacked a bit of depth and length for me, but overall a very high class and enjoyable chardonnay.

Pale gold, glistening, with a hint of green. Bouquet prominent with sweet citrus, nectarine, a hint of just-ripe pineapple (courtesy of the lovely tart sweetness), slight hints of butterscotch and vanilla. Palate is fresh with a good balance of richness and elegance, flavours consistent with bouquet and adding a touch of slatey minerality. Long finish. Not especially complex but very good drinking in 2019, would be interested to see this in years to come.

Juicy ripe white peach and nectarine, a little pineapple, some fresh mint in a fruit salad, wet stone and struck match are present from start to finish but are in no way overdone and enhance the fruit beautifully. There’s some herbal flavours in there mingling with the stoney, earthy notes which give it complexity. A really well made wine drinking beautifully now but should hold for quite some time as the structure, and quality of fruit is so good.

Recognized locally as a very distinctive style, this features 12 months on oak (50% new French), full malo and battonage. This is reflected in intense aromas of oak and biscuit. The texture is consistent with the nose but the palate, in contrast, has controlled acidity, a lot of white fruit. This gives a balance with biscuits and toast complexity and a long finish As close to Meursault as you will find
