The superb dry and lingering finish, following the classy and full yet light mid-palate, is what sets this apart and makes this wine work. Better the second night, this is a true keeper, and just starting its run. Perfectly balanced and cohesive, this shows the strengths yet to come with the 05 vintage - strong, perfectly ripe fruit, with the lithe yet substantial structure and class it needs. Gorgeous.
