Saturday, June 17, 2017 - Bright, medium (+) ruby. The nose is elegant and complex, with black fruit, red fruit, orange zest, smoke, and sweet baking spices. The palate is dry, but with plenty of fruit. Medium acidity, medium (+) tannins and high alcohol (15%) which appears quite less obtrusive. This is a full-bodied yet very elegant wine, with a medium (+) long finish. It is barely entering it optimal drinking window and will definitely benefit from many years of aging.
