Friday, February 24, 2017 - 1st of 12, decanted 90 minutes, perfect cork and level - youthful garnet, even purple on rim; attractive bouquet, still primary, cassis, earth, tobacco, touch of graphite and iron; medium, long, persistent, decent grip, tad edgy yet but should come together nicely, interesting against the superb '90 with many of same characteristics, just less generous and as yet harmonious and silky, early days. F+ (18).
